Hotel Vertigo (formerly York Hotel) is completing its final phase of renovation to emerge as San Francisco's freshest boutique hotel in February 2009! Rich in history, this hotel was originally a 'speakeasy' during the Prohibition Era and was the setting for Alfred Hitchcock's classic 'Vertigo'. Inspired by the masterpiece, the new guestrooms at the Hotel Vertigo feature stylistic elements of the past beautifully play-off modern, even futuristic elements.
