How can I book a Hotel online with WorldRes?
At WorldRes our mission is to ensure it's fast, secure and easy to find and book Hotel accommodation worldwide online. Booking with WorldRes is completed in 5 simple steps.
Step 1 - Select your dates, location and number of guests.
Step 2 - View availability details, prices and discounts for a list of high quality suitable hotels in your chosen city.
Step 3 - Select your chosen hotel and select the number of rooms and number of people and confirm your selection.
Step 4 - Enter your credit card details over a secure SSL connection.
Step 5 - View your booking reference and confirmation of booking details
NB: You will also receive an email with the booking reference and details. Please print this for your records.
Are my credit card details secure and safe?
The credit card section of WorldRes is protected by powerful Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology. SSL encrypts your name, credit card number and expiry date before they travel over the Internet. This makes doing business over the Internet as secure as purchasing by telephone. You can be assured that your credit card details will remain completely confidential.
Why do I need to give WorldRes my credit card details?
Where a deposit is required in order to complete your booking, WorldRes requires your credit card details in order to debit your card with the indicated deposit amount. If a deposit is not required, then the hotel requires your credit card details in order to secure your room. This is a standard requirement and guarantees to the hotel that in the event of you not turning up or not cancelling on time, they may redeem part or all of the cost of your booking.
What Credit Cards can I book with?
WorldRes accepts the following credit cards - American Express, Visa, Diners, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Air Plus, En Route, Novus, JCB, Carte Blanche, Optima, Eurocard and Union Credit. Please note that the credit cards that are accepted may vary by Hotel. At stage 4 of the booking process the drop down list will detail which credit cards that particular hotel accepts.
Are my personal details kept private?
Your personal details, such as name, booking details and email, are completely private and will not be used in conjunction with any issue other than your booking and use of WorldRes. WorldRes and the hotel only know these details.
What does it cost to book online?
There is no booking fee when you book accommodation online with WorldRes. A deposit is usually required to confirm your booking, this will be clearly indicated to you and will be debited from your credit card at the time of completion of the booking. Please note that the deposits are non-refundable. In the event of you not turning up or not cancelling on time, the Hotel may redeem the full cost of your booking.
How can I contact My chosen Hotel?
As an online hotel reservation service, our customers book online to avoid the time, effort and expenses that are required to reserve accommodations by telephone.
We encourage all WorldRes hotels to include as much information as possible on our site and strive to provide the largest amount of information available about our hotels online. If you wish to contact a hotel directly, simply refer to the contact information in your e-mail reservation confirmation. This is sent to you when you make reservation(s).
Hotel contact information, including telephone, fax numbers and e-mail addresses are only provided once the reservation is confirmed
If you recently made an online reservation and it was confirmed, you should have received an e-mail confirmation. This e-mail includes your confirmation code and is generated minutes after making your reservation. Simultaneously, a record of this confirmation is sent to the hotel.
If you did not receive an e-mail from WorldRes, one of two things may have happened:
- Your e-mail address is listed in our system incorrectly
- Your reservation was not confirmed successfully
There are a few ways to confirm your reservation:
- Go back to the main page of the Web site you originally made your reservation from and click on "Modify Reservation." You can view any outstanding reservations in your name.
- Call the hotel directly and confirm that they have a record of your online reservation. Please keep in mind, that it may take 24 to 48 hours for a hotel to enter your reservation into their system.

What happens if I need to cancel or change my reservations?
Information on cancelling or changing your booking will be contained the confirmation email you receive after your booking has been made. Please note that you must agree with the property's specific cancellation policy as part of the booking process.
